Crinkum-crankum brings a little botanical mischief to the soap dish without sorting bodies into “for him” and “for her.” This is a unisex bar with an all-gender welcome: women, men, and nonbinary people; cis or trans. Your pronouns, presentation, and anatomy don’t decide whether you belong here.

We begin with our house blend of beef tallow, coconut, avocado, babassu, hemp seed, and castor oils. Then we add cocoa butter and a generous portion of strained herbal infusion: calendula, lemon balm, and Himalayan rhubarb in an equal-part blend of rice bran, grapeseed, olive, and avocado oils.

Plain yogurt, kaolin clay, sodium lactate, and tussah silk complete the recipe. Nothing added thats not doing a job.

No added fragrance oils, micas, or synthetic dyes: the rhubarb infusion brings the pink, and pink belongs to everybody.

Made by the cold-process method and poured into round molds, each batch has its own botanical character. Shades and appearance can vary; that’s part of a bar colored by its ingredients rather than a standardized dye blend.

The name is playful. The welcome is sincere. Crinkum-crankum is body soap without gender gatekeeping—and with very good Manners.

How to use:

Wet the bar and work into a rich lather. Massage over damp skin, then rinse thoroughly. Keep the bar dry between uses. Avoid contact with eyes. External use only. As with any handmade product with plant-based or natural ingredients, patch test before use, especially if you have sensitive skin or known allergies. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Every Rot & Bloom bar begins with our house soap base of beef tallow, coconut oil, avocado oil, babassu oil, hemp seed oil, castor oil, sodium hydroxide, sodium lactate, and tussah silk.

From there, each soap takes its own path. Depending on the blend, a Rot & Bloom bar may include essential oils, botanical oleoresins, botanicals, clays, grains, spices, milks, extracts, or other ingredient-based additions. These bars are colored only by their ingredients—no micas, synthetic dyes, bio glitter, or fragrance oils.

Each Thicc bar weighs at least 5 oz., Regular bar weighs at least 3 oz & the Sample bar weighs at least 1.25 oz. because we handcraft each batch in small quantities, color, pattern, and appearance may vary slightly from bar to bar.
